PM2.5 & Ozone Air Pollution (US EPA videos)

This video contains three US-EPA downloadable videos concerning air pollutions.

Elgin Road Wizard at work in Minneapolis

Sweep streets to keep pollution contained as seen here from the power of an Elgin Road Wizard. An expert exclaims, We should treat our streets like a beach because the debris and contaminants end up in our waterways. Elgin is the leader in technology that combats PM10 and PM2.5 size particles. Discussion of Specific PM2.5 and PM10 EPA Standards

Because PM 2.5 is smaller in size than PM 10, the effect of breathing PM 2.5 is more harmful and thus the standards are higher. This lesson discusses what the standards are that the EPA has set. Elgin Sweeper manufactures street sweepers that remove PM 2.5 and PM 10 from neighborhood streets. Elgin Sweeper has undergone official verification that specific, street sweepers remove PM 2.5 and PM 10 to meet and exceed EPA standards.

Discussion of EPA Standards on PM2.5 and PM10

PM stands for Particulate Matter. It refers to an EPAs category of air pollution that is affecting millions of people on our planet. PM is regulated by the EPA based on size — PM 2.5 is 2.5 micrometers and smaller; PM 10 is between 10 micrometers and 2.5 micrometers. This lesson is a primer to begin discussion of the EPA’s standards on regulating the amount of Particulate Matter that humans inhale. Elgin Sweeper manufactures street sweepers that remove PM 2.5 and PM 10 from our neighborhood streets. Elgin Sweeper has undergone official verification that specific, street sweeper vehicles remove PM 2.5 and PM 10 to meet and exceed EPA standards.
